Description

The SBU (Self Balancing Unicycle) is a revolutionary gyro stabilized, accelerometer driven, battery powered, clean “green” vehicle. This cutting edge transportation vehicle is affordable, reliable, environmentally clean, and totally fun. The SBU is easy to ride; it takes the average rider about 20 minutes to learn. The SBU controls the forward and backward balance while the rider balances left and right. It’s a unique blend of machine and human balancing. The rider controls the speed by leaning forward or backward to speed up or stop. There is no need to pedal; in fact, there are no crank arms, just foot pegs. The SBU stays upright by utilizing advanced electronics, including accelerometers and gyroscopes with sophisticated balancing algorithms. It’s truly an experience like no other.

Katherine y Sophie cambiaron sus profesiones y en moda y finanzas para buscar algo un poco más dulce, su pasión por la resposteria artística ... Both lifelong bakers, inspired by their grandmothers, Katherine and Sophie opened Georgetown Cupcake in February 2008 as DC’s first and only cupcakery.

Cup Cakes Vs Magdalenas
Los pastelitos de las hermanas Kallinis LaMontagne no son magdalenas. Ellas prepar an y cocinan bizcochos del tamaño de una tacita (cup) de aquí en USA las llamen cup cakes.
Según he leido en su web, empezaron sobre el 2008 y han gozado de tanto éxito que al final han llegado por aquí.
hace tiempo que no encuentro buenas magdalenas y comerme uno de estos pastelitos de vez en cuando es todo un regalo para mi, son deliciosos y además ellas han sabido ubicarlas en el entorno donde se merecen: el mundo de las golosinas y la fantasía ... quizá ese sea el elemento más diferenciador.
Desde aquí las felicito por la fórmula y les deseo mucho éxito.

En España sólo he probado los de Barcelona en Enrique Grandos 145.
En Madrid hay otro establecimiento del mismo estilo.
